Nurse-led care
Our nurse-led care means we can offer more than the support you’d expect from traditional home care services, including enhanced live-in care. We can help manage complex or life-limiting conditions in a way that promotes greater independence and helps you or your loved one to live a full and meaningful life.
Your own private nurse will visit you or your loved one at home to take care of basic clinical needs, such as administering medication, wound care, suture removal, and help with personal hygiene, as well as lending a hand around the house and monitoring your loved one’s condition.
They’re trained to work alongside the wider care team and any other healthcare professionals involved in the person’s care. That means continuity of care for your loved one, and your own clinical expert to provide support and advice.
Round the clock care
We understand that your care needs don’t stop when the clock hits 5pm. Our round the clock care is designed to support you or your loved one for as long or as little as you need us. We can pop in throughout the day, stay overnight, provide 24/7 support or live-in care depending on your needs.
You or your loved one can sleep well at night knowing one of our highly trained carers is right there if you need us. We’ll be ready and waiting in the morning to help with getting out of bed, taking medication, washing and grooming, and we can even have breakfast waiting on the table.
We can check in throughout the day, or give your loved one the space to enjoy some home comforts and independence before we arrive in the evening to help them prepare for bed.
Promoting greater independence
Unlike other home care services, Life Begins helps people to find their place in the wider world. If you or your loved one wants to go to university, have a career, or learn a new hobby, we can provide the practical support to help you achieve it.
